Orphans and Oddballs

As noted on the front page, the 2007 MMOGTA Show will shine the “Featured Brand” spotlight on those nameplates you may not recognize at first glance, or even the second. An endless parade of manufacturers tried their best to be the next big thing in agricultural mechanization, back in the early 20th century, a few succeeded, many faltered, more failed. That whole process left us with a legacy that could be described as an “Evolution in Iron”. Thanks to a number of dedicated souls, willing to throw large amounts of time, energy, and cash at the process of recovering and restoring these heirlooms, we are given an opportunity to get very real look back at a period of explosive development that left our great Country forever changed.
