a young lady and her family after a tragic accident that cost the life
of another local teen and left Amanda
and two of her friends seriously injured. If a bright spot can be found in
the midst of this sad story, surely last Saturday was one. The weather was
perfect, the meal was outstanding, the auction was productive, the tractor
pulling went on ‘till midnight, and best of all, the 3 surviving girls
were able to attend. This weekend was the first time they had all been together
since the accident. In gratitude to all who worked, donated, or just enjoyed
the afternoon, we’d like to share a few pictures. It was a “good
neighbor” thing to do, and the smiles on the faces of the girls and their
friends speak volumes. (click photos to enlarge)
