The contents of the “Weekly Feature” page are provided to you for your entertainment, amusement, and perhaps information. Here you may find articles of interest, pictures, historical information on the Club, or whatever shuffles to the top of the pile on our desk. The only defined characteristic of this space is that we will make every effort to change/replace it around the middle of each week. Thank you for visiting, and please stop by again. Due to circumstances beyond their control, the Weekly Feature staff has been away from their post for the last 6 weeks, and regrets any inconvenience to our visitors. In keeping with their diligent nature, the staff spent their time away expanding their horizons, honing their skills, enlarging their material archives, shrinking their budget, and, of course, working for world peace. While evident results of these well intended efforts may be slow to appear, we welcome the opportunity to return to our schedule of providing articles of interest in this space on a somewhat regular basis.

Toward that end, we offer a few photos of one of our favorite annual events, the end of Summer Plowing Bee, generously hosted by Trinklein Farms, near Saginaw MI. The weather was perfect, the company of like-minded folks a pleasure, and the noon potluck meal would have fed every threshing crew in the County. We'll add just one extra photo of our friend Walt Ritenburg, clutching his new trophy, while his brand loyalty evaporates into the chilled evening air. (Click to enlarge individual pics)
