The contents of the “Weekly Feature” page are provided to you for your entertainment, amusement, and perhaps information. Here you may find articles of interest, pictures, historical information on the Club, or whatever shuffles to the top of the pile on our desk. The only defined characteristic of this space is that we will make every effort to change/replace it around the middle of each week. Thank you for visiting, and please stop by again. Mid-Summer Fun

Just a brief photo photo essay this week, as we work and play our way through an interesting season. To date, the summer has been remarkably cool in our neighborhood, making it a bit easier on those who toil in the sun, but a bit of a concern for those whose toil includes the growing of crops. Even the hard core Al Gore supporters have tucked their “Stamp out Global Warming” signs quietly behind the barn, while they shop the fertile fields of liberalism for another “cause celeb’re” to rally behind. But of course we don’t get into that in this space, preferring to spend our efforts on more practical movements. The bean counters at the MMOGTA Publishing Complex have already accepted the fact that we will not likely see any “green” subsidy money as a reward for our opinions. In this instance, it will just be a little look around the neighborhood that includes a visit to nearby Elsie MI for a look at a nice selection of hardware displayed in their natural surroundings, and a “work in progress” peek at the newest building on our showgrounds, the Lumber Storage Barn. However mundane our existence, there’s always something to see, whether it’s worthy of note is a judgment better made above my pay grade.
