The contents of the “Weekly Feature” page are provided to you for your entertainment, amusement, and perhaps information. Here you may find articles of interest, pictures, historical information on the Club, or whatever shuffles to the top of the pile on our desk. The only defined characteristic of this space is that we will make every effort to change/replace it around the middle of each week. Thank you for visiting, and please stop by again. The Spice of Life

As you may notice from our September schedule of events, it’s a busy month for the members and friends of the MMOGTA. We did have Labor Day weekend off, probably should have saved ourselves another holiday respite for the end of the month, but there simply are not enough weekends to do so. We have seen a cement pull, followed by the monthly business meeting, then the Mackinac Bridge crossing, another cement pull, Education Day, Dead Boat, pull and finally the September T-Sled Pull. I don’t know what more we could do. The last 3 day session was very much like staging a miniature version of our August Show, as we assembled some 21 interactive stations for the more than 500 elementary school kids that were our guests on Education Day. What a gratifying experience that was, made even better by the outstanding late summer weather we were blessed with that day. The gods of meteorology were less generous on the day of the dead boat pull, but compensated us again for the T-Sled with sun and moderate temps. We do still have a rain-out make-up pull for the T-Sled scheduled for October 4th, though at this writing, the forecast is less than optimistic. We’ll deal with that when the time comes. For now, we’ll content ourselves with a few photos from the variety of events that have spiced our life for the past month.
