TEMPUS FUGIT

Yup. Time flies, even here in Fergus, where the pace is about a step slower than the fast lane, leaving the guy that does the Weekly Feature page somewhat in default with his self-imposed, and admittedly flexible deadline. August is just the flip of a calendar page away, the pre-show stress is starting to build, so it feels like I should put off procrastinating for a few days, at least.

It has been a busy summer season for us MMOGTA types, as I’m sure it has been for all of you. The July schedule brings us an extra T-Sled pull on the last day of the month, and then it will be August. We all know what that means in Oakley. Like our Fearless Leader is fond of saying, “If it wasn’t for the last minute, nothing would ever get done”. Tru dat, and we prove it every year.

But for the moment we’ll play a little “catch-up”, and take a brief look back at a few local happenings from the month of July, including the Chesaning Dawn Patrol, Showboat Parade, and maybe one or two pics from the family album.
